•Manténgase al menos a unos 3 metros y nunca se ponga enfrente de ella, siempre quédese detrás, sobre todo cuando esté desovando.

•Manténgase en silencio y no se mueva. En vez de eso, siéntese silenciosamente y disfrute de este maravilloso regalo que la vida le ha ofrecido.

•No se olvide de quitarse del paso cuando la tortuga trate de regresar al mar.

•No formen un círculo alrededor de la tortuga. Esto puede ser muy estresante para ella. El solo hecho de desovar es ya bastante difícil.

•Si es de noche, no la alumbre, esto puede causar que paren de excavar y regresen al mar, y por lo tanto no le permitirá desovar.

•Para las fotografías, no usar el flash. Cualquier luz no natural deben ser restringida y controlada por los guías. Las fotos podrán realizarse únicamente cuando la tortuga ha iniciado el proceso de desove y con indicación del guía.

•Si encuentra un nido con crías naciendo NO TOQUE a las tortuguitas. Cualquier bacteria, repelente o resto de comida puede ser perjudicial para la supervivencia de estas crías. Lávese las manos cuidadosamente antes de intentar ayudar a una tortuga atascada que tenga dificultad para llegar al mar. Recuerde dejarla marchar libremente, no la ponga directamente en el agua a menos que sea absolutamente necesario.

•La basura no es parte de este ambiente, por favor, recójala y deposítela en el basurero.

Apparently my new career is “Recording Tech”. We haven’t been able to find a good clamp to hold the mini-iPad on our tripod, but nothing a few rubber bands can’t fix. 🤪

So much amazing music. And to make it even better this year, we were joined by our beautiful, super talented friend Jossy Gallegos from Petatlan, Mexico. Tim and I met her 3 years ago at a festival in Mexico. She knocked us off our feet with her singing, songwriting and guitar playing. We brought her up to Calgary in early 2018 to record an album with Tim and it was a gift to be able to bring her up again to perform much of that album at the festival. Muchas Gracias Jossy para tu musica muy hermosa.
