It’s Fri 👏🏽 day 👏🏽 so I’m flashing back to one of my favorite adventures this past summer during my solo trip to Aruba.

🌊

——Ya girl rode 2.5 hours on this “horse heartthrob” whose name just so happened to mean “light” in Spanish 😉. Journeyed with complete strangers through desert-like hills and rugged terrain to reach a breathtakingly beautiful coastline and natural pool. Witnessed so much artistry in nature while simultaneously riding and recording 📷 —- and even ran into some goats along the way (see SLIDE 3).

A couple of blurry shots at the end, but they’re still worth their weight in gold. I just hope these captured moments bring your heart as much joy, as this entire experience brought mine. And ——YES FRIEND!!!! This is YOUR sign. You don’t need an entourage and you don’t need a reason. Just book the trip. 🤞🏽🌍

One step back two steps forward! Took the frame off the camper a few weeks ago to add for more floor braces and two more mounting brackets for the cab end of the bed.

Sand blasted it in the garage and gave a few coats of white enamel paint!

Amazing pieces engineering that would certainly have a place here in 2021 with what #overlanding has become. Busy weekend for the camper! Still looks a mess but I got a lot of the heavy lifting out of the way.

My kindergarten crayola wiring diagram 👍🏻, separated the camper from the factory chassis, temporarily lifted with the brophy jacks and 2x4s, fit the modular frame underneath, mounted the secondhand Tacoma bed to the original trailer and put the sandwich together. Happy Mother’s Day!
