Salah satu pedagang pakaian di pasar Tanah Abang, Samuel, merasakan sendiri bagaimana dampak pandemi Covid-19 terhadap bisnisnya.

Terlebih, saat Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) diberlakukan sekitar Triwulan 1 2020, bisnisnya terancam gulung tikar karena aktivitas offline mendadak dibatasi.

Seperti kita ketahui, UMKM telah berjasa besar menyelamatkan Indonesia dari dua krisis ekonomi besar, yaitu krisis ekonomi 1998 dan 2008. UMKM, yang sejatinya adalah usaha dari rakyat untuk rakyat, sekali lagi diharapkan mampu membantu menahan laju penurunan pertumbuhan ekonomi di masa pandemi ini.

Apa yang dirasakan Samuel sejalan dengan hasil riset NeuroSensum yang dilakukan secara virtual ke sejumlah pelaku UMKM. Dari riset tersebut terungkap bahwa lini penjualan offline mereka mengalami penurunan. Ini berbanding terbalik dengan penjualan online mereka yang justru meningkat.

Memang, di masa kecanggihan teknologi seperti sekarang ini peran online marketplace menjadi vital dalam mendukung ketahanan UMKM di Indonesia. Aktivitas offline yang dibatasi karena pandemi, secara alami menghadirkan peluang dan tantangan tersendiri baik bagi pelaku UMKM, pembeli, maupun online marketplace sebagai penyedia tempat berjualan.

Saat Ramadhan, marketplace menjadi salah satu tujuan konsumen untuk berbelanja kebutuhan mendukung aktivitas selama puasa.

Berbagai pelaku usaha telah mempersiapkan stok yang lebih banyak dan manpower untuk menghadapi pesanan yang seringkali membludak.

Berkaca pada Ramadhan 2020 silam yang juga terimbas pandemi, aktivitas e-dagang menjelang bulan puasa 2021 kurang lebih sama. Marketplace, contohnya seperti Shopee, berupaya menaikkan pesanan dengan sejumlah promo dan gratis ongkir.
Hasil Neurosensum Ramadhan Survey 2021 menyebutkan sinyal peningkatan pembelian yang dilakukan oleh konsumen menjelang Ramadhan. Aktivitas belanja online pada masa Ramadhan 2021 akan meningkat menjadi 37% dari tahun sebelumnya sebesar 33%.

Sebanyak 48% memilih belanja kebutuhan sehari-hari secara online saat Ramadhan 2021, sementara 33% konsumen membeli barang-barang selain barang kebutuhan sehari-hari. Angka tersebut dipengaruhi oleh kecemasan konsumen untuk berbelanja offline dan memilih untuk tetap di rumah karena pandemi yang belum mereda.
Lebih lanjut, kanal belanja online kini menjadi cukup penting bagi keseharian konsumen. Neurosensum Annual Ramadhan Spending Tracker 2021 menyebutkan sebanyak 82% konsumen berupaya menemukan barang yang mereka cari, 80% melakukan riset produk, 69% mencari diskon, dan 66% melakukan pembelian produk. Artinya, para pelaku UMKM yang berjualan di online marketplace memiliki peluang dan optimisme cukup tinggi untuk memasarkan produk-produknya ke konsumen

Hasil riset NeuroSensum yang dilakukan secara virtual kepada sejumlah pelaku UMKM di Tanah Air, terungkap bahwa lini penjualan offline mereka mengalami penurunan.

Ini berbanding terbalik dengan penjualan online mereka yang justru meningkat.⁣

Associate Director NeuroSensum Indonesia Grace Oktaviana mengungkapkan, dalam riset tersebut, ditemukan beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi oleh pelaku UMKM. Pandemi memang mempengaruhi sistem bisnis UMKM, di mana pelakunya harus berpikir dengan cepat bagaimana bertransformasi secara digital.⁣

“Salah satu transformasi yang berhasil menolong mereka adalah bergabung dengan online marketplace sehingga dari sisi penjualan mereka bisa bertumbuh, namun dengan perubahan yang cepat ini mereka menjumpai tantangan-tantangan lain yang harus segera diselesaikan juga,” katanya.⁣

Riset ini melibatkan 1.000 responden pengguna aktif e-commerce berusia produktif (19-45 tahun)

secara serentak di 8 kota besar di Indonesia, yaitu kawasan Jabodetabek, kota-kota besar di pulau Jawa, serta kota besar lainnya di Indonesia, selama tiga bulan terakhir (November 2020 – Januari 2021).
Dari hasil riset ini, tercatat bahwa ShopeePay mendapatkan penetrasi pasar tertinggi (68%), diikuti oleh OVO (62%), DANA (54%), GoPay (53%), dan LinkAja (23%).
Salah satunya didapatkan melalui jajaran promosi terbanyak yang ditawarkan oleh ShopeePay menurut responden (42%), OVO (25%), GoPay (16%), DANA (13%), LinkAja (4%).
Sehingga lebih dari sepertiga responden (34%) pun menganggap bahwa ShopeePay adalah pemain e-wallet dengan pertumbuhan terpesat selama tiga bulan terakhir, diikuti oleh OVO (25%), DANA (20%), GoPay (17%), dan LinkAja (4%).
Lebih lanjut, peran pemasaran cerdas dan terpadu, kemudahan bertransaksi digital, dan akselerasi penggunaan e-wallet untuk pembayaran non-fisik, diketahui mendorong ShopeePay menduduki tahta juara dengan pangsa pasar jumlah transaksi tertinggi (29% dari total) diikuti oleh OVO (25% dari total), GoPay (21% dari total), DANA (20% dari total), dan LinkAja (6% dari total).
Hal ini pun diikuti dengan nilai transaksi tertinggi dari belanja offline dan online menggunakan ShopeePay (33%) yang mengalahkan OVO (24%), GoPay (19%), DANA (18%), dan LinkAja (6%).
