We do things like mail each other packages, cheer each other on in career and workouts, and even shop together (pre-covid)sending pics of outfits over chat from fitting rooms. She is equally (if not more) crafty also so there’s always lots to chat about. We met in-person once in beautiful San Francisco and were fearful that it would ruin our online friendship. Luckily, it hasn’t.

I know that I will continue to crochet and probably take a small number of orders to help me support my hobby. But I've been enjoying the downtime, working on selfish projects and pattern tests, like this Joanne Peplum for @eandccraft , and sometimes not crocheting at all.

Testing it, and the matching bonnet, for @themoulehole was a real treat! It works up so quickly and the pattern is easy to follow as always!

I've been thinking a lot about how to transition my work into Spring and Summer styles. Many people think of yarn as cold weather wear, but that's definitely not the case!

I have some new cotton blend yarns that I can't wait to work into bonnets and possibly some little bloomers. Did you happen to see the set I posted in my stories yesterday?

I'm undecided on if I will take orders for The Countryside Romper (though this sample will be for sale) but it would be the perfect piece layered with a onesie, tights, and a cardigan for Spring and then all on its own for rolling around in the Summer grass.

I work for a tech startup day to day and we’ve been optionally work from home for the last few weeks. But starting Monday, we’re officially remote first. 👩🏻‍💻 It’s going to be major shift in how we think about communication and remote work. I feel very grateful and privileged that my line of work allows for these kinds of shifts, and still allow us to work, continuing our business, and pay employees.
Canada, in my opinion has been dealing with the global pandemic quiet well. Our news media outfits are serious, but not alarmist. I’m curious about the kind of response in the US. Lots that I read in Twitter is from America. Let me know how COVID19 is affecting your everyday? 🦠 I’m genuinely curious.

All that being said, with the shift in lifestyle, I will promise to bring the rerelease of the slouchy tee pattern over the next few weeks. I’m rewriting it to change the construction and include a wider variety of sizes. ✨ I am a petite person, and I would not say that my patterns are inclusive of all body types. But slowly and surely I am working into improve that. It’ll take take learning, and math (did you know I grade all my patterns on my own?), but I have no excuse why I’ve excluded such a large part of the maker population with my no inclusive sizing. I love you all and thanks for the I’m going support! 💕
