Porcini Mushroom Risotto 🙌🏽

Loving on myself by making one of my favorite dishes!

This was such a lovely reminder that pouring my heart into what I do is the How of how to do....whatever it is we're doing.

For me as a previous professional chef... it was challenging at times, busy times, stressful times in restaurants to get the job done and Love on the food big! Lots of reprogramming there for me. Cuz...when I get working, I get distant and "in work mode"... Especially when high volume production is the goal. That intention of volume can minimize the attention to honor, thank and bless the ingredients and not just manipulate them to make a means. The happy medium takes an incredible amount of awareness to hold space for both. So making a small, slow beloved dish for one's self with all the feels last evening was just the overstanding I needed to remember to INJOY creating.

Really what I'm describing are masculine and feminine energetics of HOW we go about doing something. Balance of course ..is key when you also need to get stuff done. ☯️👁

Last weekend at the #mccloudmushroomfestival I purchased this 1/2 lb King Bolete or Porcini mishroom...so beautiful 🤎
