Desarrollado por Telltale Games, The Walking Dead se encuentra basado en la popular saga de Cómics creada por Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore y Charlie Adlard.
El juego consiste en una historia interactiva junto con la modalidad de point & click para avanzar por la narración al igual que la saga de Batman de Telltale.
En esta temporada tenemos 5 capítulos los cuales tenemos como protagonistas a Lee (a quien controlamos), un hombre convicto acusado de asesinar a un senador por celos, y a Clementine, una niña de 8 años quien la pandemia zombie le quita a sus padres y se cruza con Lee, el cual será su mejor amigo y guardián durante la historia.
Puntos fuertes de este juego son el hecho de que, sin ser fan de la serie de televisión o lector del cómic, puedes entrar cómodamente (?) al mundo de TWD y aterrarte con lo que quiere mostrarte, lo que es muy positivo para captar nueva audiencia a la franquicia.
La trama es lo mejor, con sus altos y bajos, sus momentos de tensión y suspenso sabe entretener y mantener la atención del jugador en todo momentos, los sustos, las pequeñas alegrías y los momentos de paz se sienten genuinos.
Los puntos débiles es que a ratos desencanta al darnos cuenta que, hagamos lo que hagamos, nuestras decisiones poco importan al momento de querer salvar a alguien determinado, la historia está escrita y es imposible salvarlos a todos aunque movamos todas las piezas bien. Aunque supongo que ese es el juego sucio de la saga.
