This place is facing the marvelous Taal Lake and Taal Volcano, so, we are very lucky to have booked their Tree House since it sits right at the shore of the Taal Lake witnessing the golden hour. So perfect!

We picked Kapusod to stay at for 3 days and 2 nights to celebrate Christmas Day 2020 away from the city and embrace the nature amidst the pandemic and its friendly rates.

The ambiance is so amazing when you are really into nature, especially when you have a fur baby because Kapusod is a pet friendly place, and please be a responsible pet owner as well.

Kapusod is owned by Journalist Howie Severino and his wife, an environmental lawyer, Ipat Luna. The resort is their weekend home, where you will see the main house made of bamboo and you can’t imagine how tedious it was done. The huge “silong” serves as a dining area for guests and the owners.

In here, I got the vibe that allowed me to slow down to "me time", reconnect with nature, and capture the moment's essence and meaning. Among all the beautiful things around Taal Lake in this resort, this water garden is my favorite. It’s a natural pool with no chlorine. The water in this pool is coming from deep underground, according to the resort. It is filtered constantly, with any bacteria zapped in a UV box where the water is cycled through before joining a mini waterfall as a final aeration. Definitely one of the best and easily one of the perfect dipping pools to experience during this pandemic.
