Alhamdulillaah. I highly recommend the Special Tafseer Class by AREES, taught by Sheikh Dr. Isam Rajab to all my friends.

It is one of the few tafseer courses conducted in English and the explanation was delivered in a captive manner referencing seerah, hadith and related stories. I looked forward to learning from one surah to the next, and I did not miss a class.

Since the tafseer class, I have learnt so much about each surah, the meanings and reasons behind why certain surahs are revealed and how some of them are linked. It also taught me the beauty of the Quran and why it was being revealed in Arabic. Dr Isam also showed us the reason behind the choice of words used in the Quran, the emphasis of wording and also the construction of the ayah.
All this enhanced our understanding of the miracle of the Quran. Each time I establish my prayers and read the Quran, the learning from this course has added great value, appreciation and understanding to them. We now have the task of implementing what we have learnt, starting with oneself. In shaa Allah, I plan to share what I have learnt with my family and friends.
