These knives make cooking preparation so much fun and easy. The 7-inch Santoku knife pierced the blood orange as if we were cutting through thin air, we watched in awe as the oranges slowly bled. Holding the knives gives you a sense of power to prepare any type of dish. The knives have a nice amount of heft but they float like a feather when cutting through vegetables or meats. We used our knife set to prepare some artichokes for boiling to create artichoke water as part of our new health routine. Artichokes are always a pain to cut, but with Kamikoto Knives in hand we easily cut through their heart. These knives were forged by Japanese steel masters through an intense 19 detailed step process passed down over hundreds of years. Besides the high quality honshu steel used here, each knife is also really easy to use. They are precision balanced and weighted for optimal form and long-lasting performance. So it's really comfortable to hold and weld when cooking. Maybe I should start slicing some Japanese sashimi already :)

You can probably also see from this photo that the knives are carefully polished, with both the blade and handle being satin-finished. Smooth as silk.
