Saturday night I had some food that I normally don't eat, and that I knew would cause my intestines some issues.
..well, it was so bad I thought I had a stomach bug, but I chose to take two enzymes before bed that night, in hopes that I would be okay.

A lottttt of people are sensitive to dairy.
This means that they cannot digest the proteins or sugar ( casein, whey, lactose) found in milk. If your body cannot digest these, then it causes intestinal distress. Over time, this consumption can cause damage to your gut.
This is why It is suggested to stay away from dairy (except some fermented kinds) when trying to heal your gut. At least until you know if your body likes it or not :)
