“Fobia kucing bisa diatasi dengan berkonsultasi kepada psikolog untuk menjalani terapi exposure. Jadi, didekatkan ke sumber takutnya (kucing) secara perlahan dan semakin lama semakin dekat hingga menyentuh si kucing, Tujuannya agar dia memiliki keberanian terhadap kucing,” jelas psikolog Ikhsan.

علل گربههراسی
گربههراسی میتواند چندین علل گوناگونی داشتهباشد که از میان مهمترین آنها میتوان به موارد زیر اشاره کرد:
یکی از علل رایج گربههراسی، مشاهدۀ واکنشهای ناشی از ترس سایر افراد از گربههاست؛ مثلاٌ این ترس میتواند در یک کودک با مشاهدۀ رفتار پدر و مادر یا مراقب او (یا حتی شخصیتهای کارتونی) در وی ایجاد شده و رشد کند.
این ترس در خانمها با تماشای نمایشهای تلویزیونی یا فیلمهایی که بهطور معمول ترس شخصیتهای مونث یا فرار آنها از گربهها را به تصویر میکشند، ایجاد و تقویت میشود. این باور زمانی پررنگتر میشود که در نمایش، شخصیت مردی نشان داده میشود به محافظت از وی در برابر حیوانات میپردازد.
گربهها ذاتی درنده دارند و اغلب آنها با مرتبط با جادوگری، افسانههای قومی و شرارت میدانند. حتی گربههای اهلیشده نیز ممکن است چنگ بیندازند یا گاز بگیرند. مشاهدۀ اینگونه رفتارها در گربهها یا تجربۀ آنها در کودکی (یا حتی در بزرگسالی) بهطور مستقیم یا غیرمستقیم میتواند منجر به گربههراسی شود.

I've been struggling with my #catphobia for as long as I can remember.
And by struggling I mean a real every day #struggle
A #catphobic 's life might not be so difficult in any city or any country, but my country, my city , my neighborhood is the #streetcats land. They are #everywhere - waiting to jump you. And no they don't take no for an answer and no you can't scare them away. If they decide they want to sit at your doorstep then at your doorstep they shall sit.
So you can imagine how they've been making my life hell.
Then I decided enough is enough and I should face my #fears.
