Well, it’s not perfect, but it’s better than it was earlier (and it’s done except for attaching the back elastic strap to hold it in place when worn).
This is the cape for “Thrive Man”, my custom cannabis branded and themed super hero costume for @classicblackgreen to wear to work for Halloween. This dress form is not shaped like my husband, so it looks a little better on him because he has shoulders and arms, etc...This collared cape was full of challenges, from running out of fabric, to different stretch ratios of the gold all way stretch versus the woven fabric that went bacon when stitched down, to issues getting the drape right, to getting the logo to look correctly when drawn out by hand, to a collar that had to be cut off and re-patterned and sewn again, etc.... sigh. Due to not buying enough cannabis printed fabric initially, I accidentally cut too far into the fabric needed to make the cape I originally designed. So I had to amend the design to feature a more hexagonal shape, like the logo. Anyway, it’s done at least, so I can relax before starting the pants.... need to be done tomorrow. @thrivedispensary #thrivecannabismarket #thrivecannabis #cannabiscape #costumedesigner #lasvegascannabis #thriveman #customcape
