Mount Olympus Coaching and Mount Olympus Gym are holding a fund raiser by selling Country Meats jerky sticks for athlete expenses such as athletic gear, travel and lodging, entry fees and food. All the normal stuff.
They are high in protein, low in carbs and zero trans fats. They however are NOT full of grease and fillers like other "slim" jerky on the market. These are made here in Florida.
Weight lifting isn't a cheap sport but being a champion is not for the rich or financially well off only.
Our small gym is located and based out on the Port Orange YMCA and our main goal is to give these kids and adults a safe place to excel and stay focused.
Just because our gym is small does not mean we don't " get it done". As of right now we have 3 lifters who have a VERY high chance of making a team USA spot in a couple different federations for 2022 which would mean possible overseas travel. We currently have several lifters now who hold both state and national records with different lifting federations.
My entire salary goes to the lifters in one way or another. I bring home nothing. If I can coach someone to be better, I believe that makes me a better person.
These kids are young and need something healthy to focus on and I'm trying to give them that. All our fund raising goes strictly to the team.
We will also be accepting monetary donations as well if you would be interested in sponsoring a lifter or lifters.
